Recurring SAPAC Events 

  • BIPOC Peer Led Support Group Meetings
    • Mondays: 5:30-6:30pm on Zoom
      Fridays: 4:30-5:30pm SAPAC Office, 4100 Michigan Union
    • A drop-in, confidential healing space for survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking, and/or sexual harassment, who identify as people of color.

 

  • General Peer Led Support Group Meetings
    • Sundays: 7-8:30 PM SAPAC Office, 4100 Michigan Union
    • Tuesdays: 7:30-8:30pm on Zoom
    • An open drop-in, confidential healing space that meets twice a week for University of Michigan students who identify as survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, sexual harassment, or stalking.

 

  • Wellness Wednesdays
    • Wednesday, March 20th and Wednesday, April 17th 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm
    • Location: SAPAC Office, 4100 Michigan Union
    • An open and informal offering for students to engage with community and optional self-care resources including journaling, art, discussion, mindfulness and movement.

    • Join SAPAC’s SEAS program for a curated art show that promotes healing, visibility, and awareness of sexual and relationship violence.

    • Connect with Consent, Outreach, and Relationship Education (CORE) volunteers as they raise awareness about sexual assault on campus as well as SAPAC resources.

     

  • Masculinity and Survivorship Tabling

    • Join SAPAC's Michigan Men program to learn more about resources for masculine-identified survivors and participate in an interactive piece.

 

  • LBGTQ+ and Masculinity Open Mic Night

    • Location: Cahoots Cafe (906 E Huron St. Suite 2)
    • Join SAPAC’s Michigan Men Program and WARP for an open mic night focused on the topics of LGBTQ+ and Masculinity

    • A trailblazing world premiere production, Ni une más braids music, theatre, and dance to tell survivors’ stories of growing agency.

 

  • Everywhere You Look
    • Thursday, March 21st 6-7:30pm
    • Location: Art & Architecture Building, Room 2104
    • Hosted by Taubman College, Lori Brown will present an overview of key aspects of ongoing research, advocacy, and activism that have focused on topics from immigration and the border, equity within the built environment, to reproductive justice. 

 

  • Barriers Beyond Roe

    • Location: StudioStudio (1946 Packard St.) 
    • Presented by Do Good Work, a local non-profit, an interdisciplinary panel and discussion addressing barriers abortion providers face at different scales within the built environment.
